There is always more of You.

While I was preparing for a seminar in a very matter of fact manner, my daughter sat down next to me and asked what I was doing. I am just preparing for a seminar I said. On what? On basically who we are as human beings and how we function. She took a piece of paper and silently got to work herself. The following is her contribution as she sees herself and her fellow human beings. My daughter is 11 years old:

There’s more than a world in your soul
There’s more than a herd in your heart
There’s more than a dream in your eyes
There’s more you than you are.

Needless to say that I rewrote the whole presentation. Over and over again I have witnessed in my work how true her wisdom is. There is always another you, that emerges from the depths of our beings and shows us the way. An experience so wonderful to witness that it still makes me weep today after all these years. There is always another you that takes you by the hand – you are never alone. Our journey is to unfold more of who we are.

May our children be blessed for their wisdom, may we allow this wisdom to reach our hearts and may we inspire them to believe in themselves!
